What are you most passionate about in your work? What motivates you?

It's the people that motivate me and that I feel passionate about. There is nothing better than creating a space, a program, a workout, etc that provides value to their lives - even outside of the 4 walls of the gym.

Are you willing to relocate?

Yes.

Which coaching skills do you possess that set you apart from other coaches?

I've worked with a large range of members/athletes from 8-70s, beginners to World Champion Weightlifters. Being able to reach everyone at their level and needs to allow them to get the most out of their training is something I pride myself on.

Where do you see yourself in your career in 5 years?

In 5 years I'd like to be a coach who can comfortably make a living doing just that - coaching. I want to be in space, possibly my own or with someone like minded, that values quality over quantity.

Tell us about a coach you've worked with who has mentored you or a coach you've learned from online.

The owner of the very first gym I attended and worked at was a huge mentor. He was the first one to believe that I could A - be fit and healthy and B - coach others to do the same. He was highly encouraging and consistently pushed me to try to new things personally and professionally with the goal to better assist the members I worked with. He understood that being uncomfortable is where growth happens and he really did help me grow into a great coach.

What are your values as a coach that differentiate you from others?

I value what my members value. I understand that there are people in ever gym that are there for different reasons - to live a healthier life, to compete, to build strength, etc. Knowing and understanding what they value allows me to provide for them to the bestow my ability.

Which certification or seminar has had the biggest impact on your coaching skills?

The movement assessment seminar through Active Life has been one of the best seminars I've attended. It has helped me better understand and work with those athletes/members/clients that often get overlooked in a group class setting because they are injured or can not do something to a certain level. It has allowed me to reach them and create success for them while at the same time improving or correcting any issues that were problematic before.

What Specialty Programs can you create for your new facility?

Weightlifting team/club, nutrition program, 1:1 or persona/individualizedl training program

Are you a military veteran?

No
