Short biography

As a former recruiter and instructor for the Marine Corps, I have learned to communicate well to help give those I am coaching a clear understanding of what we are doing.

What are you most passionate about in your work? What motivates you?

I am most passionate about the process. What I mean by that is I am highly motivated in helping clients on the fitness journey and working towards a better version of themselves.

Are you willing to relocate?

I am not willing to relocate right now as I am still in the military.

Which coaching skills do you possess that set you apart from other coaches?

I believe the skill that I possess that sets me apart from other coaches is the ability to put athletes at ease, through my humor, so they can push their limits knowing that even if they fail we will still have a great time.

Where do you see yourself in your career in 5 years?

In five years I would like to have gained higher level certifications through CrossFit. I would also like to be done with my Bachelors degree in Sports and Health Sciences.

Tell us about a coach you've worked with who has mentored you or a coach you've learned from online.

The gym I volunteered at in Okinawa was completely run and operated by volunteer coaches. While we didn't have that much experience we all did spend a lot of time outside of classes discussing ways to make the gym and our coaching abilities better.

What are your values as a coach that differentiate you from others?

Integrity is a value that I have learned and refined during my time in the military. It is something that I think sets me apart from other coaches.

Which certification or seminar has had the biggest impact on your coaching skills?

I did a Caffeine and Kilos seminar several years back that I was able to see how much impact quality coaching can have on an athlete.

What Specialty Programs can you create for your new facility?

I would be able to create a olympic weightlifting program as I have been a coach in that field for 5 years now.

Are you a military veteran?

Yes, I am currently in the military and will be retiring in November of 2022.
