Summary

What are you most passionate about in your work? What motivates you?

I am motived to show others the good that CrossFit has done for me. The tribe aspect is what kept me going through hard times. I want everyone to see the good inside them. Everyone deserves a good chance at life, and CrossFit can be that way.

Are you willing to relocate?

Yes

Which coaching skills do you possess that set you apart from other coaches?

I am a huge CrossFit nerd. I go home and study the journal articles. I coach all day and use what I am learning. CrossFit is a huge part of my life and I take coaching very seriously.

Where do you see yourself in your career in 5 years?

I want to eventually work my way into CrossFit seminar staff teaching the level one coaches. I also want to keep coaching all levels of athletes.

Tell us about a coach you've worked with who has mentored you or a coach you've learned from online.

I sit here and watch E.C.s videos all day long. Just the way she calmly and confidently teaches CrossFit. Also Pat Sherwood and Boz. I love learning the small things from them like the micro, macro, micro lessons.

What are your values as a coach that differentiate you from others?

I value the character of our athletes. I think our character shows us who we are. Then from there humility is important. Always learning and being humble enough to keep learning. Also courage to do hard things.

Which certification or seminar has had the biggest impact on your coaching skills?

The level two set me off on a great path. I loved the advanced concepts course. But I hands down feel the most value as an Adaptive CrossFit trainer. I feel like I can give the most value to every client regardless of where they are at.

What Specialty Programs can you create for your new facility?

I have a background in mental health teaching. I have created several workout programs based off mental health. I also due to my major have worked with athletes with special needs. Adaptive programs are great and I highly recommend them.

Are you a military veteran?

no
